Very good information as more individuals with mild hearing loss inquire about hearing aids in the VA. There is a certain bias against fitting these individuals. This training has certainly proven that these individuals should be considered for amplification more seriously.

Graphics/other media (besides the typed text) were difficult to read and in some instances didn't really "fit" with the discussion in the text. Also, I sometimes felt that the syntax and word choices made it a bit more difficult to understand the concept being explained. Finally, I may be too "old school" but when I was in grad school a "mild" hearing loss could be defined as low as 20 db, depending on its impact of the individual. I understand demarcations may change over time, but IMO 25 db could easily cause communication difficulties for some individuals.Evan 20 db losses could.
