Manager of Sales Excellence and Customer Service Training
Candace Depp, Au.D., is the Manager of Sales Excellence and Customer Service Training for Oticon, Inc. With over 10 years of experience, she is responsible for designing, developing and delivering audiological, fitting, and product support materials for key groups, working in collaboration with Oticon audiology, marketing, production, customer service, product development, and research staff. She also creates customer-focused training and seminar materials and conducts training and coaching sessions for Oticon Account Managers. Candace regularly presents at local, regional, online, and national training seminars and conventions. She earned a Master of Arts in Audiology and a Doctor of Audiology with a Pediatric Aural Habilitation concentration from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
Chief of Audiology for Oticon and Sr. Director at the Centre for Applied Audiology Research
Thomas Behrens is the Chief of Audiology for Oticon and Senior Director at the Centre for Applied Audiology Research at Oticon. He is responsible for pre- and post-market research, professional communication and defining audiology in new solutions from Oticon. Prior to this, he spent 10 years at the Oticon Research Centre, Eriksholm. His research interests include among others signal processing, outcome measures, cognitive hearing science, and eHealth. Thomas regularly publishes research in scientific journals. Thomas has a Master Degree in applied signal processing from Aalborg University (1998), and a Bachelor Degree in business administration (HD) from Copenhagen Business School (2004).
Senior Marketing Manager
Danielle is the senior marketing manager for Oticon Inc. She is responsible for developing marketing programs and services for hearing care practices. Danielle has extensive domestic and international experience in both learning and development and product management in the hearing care industry. Danielle has also worked clinically as a dispensing audiologist. She received her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Temple University, her Master’s degree from Trenton State, and a Doctor of Audiology degree from Salus University.
Sarah Draplin is the Manager of Audiology and Education for Oticon’s Government Services team. She brings more than 20 years’ experience in clinic management, education and training and diagnostic audiology, including 12 years as an audiology program manager for the VA Healthcare System. Sarah has served in leadership roles locally at the VA and nationally through the Association of VA Audiologists. She holds a B.A. in Communication Disorders and an Au.D. from Central Michigan University.
