This course will provide a basis for understanding candidacy and completing a pre-operative evaluation of Bone Anchored Hearing Systems (BAHS), including the newest Ponto 4 and the Ponto 3 Super Power. Topics will also include mixed/conductive hearing loss and Single-Sided Deafness, device selection, determining the need for an at-home trial experience and counseling tools along with resources that will aid in informed patient decision making.

Amanda Cooley, Au.D., F-AAA, is the Clinical Specialist for Bone Anchored Hearing Systems and Cochlear Implants in the Southeast Region for Oticon Medical. She received her Doctorate of Audiology from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida and her Bachelor of Arts from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. She has been practicing as a clinical Audiologist in the field since 2013, previously working primarily in the ENT sector with adults and pediatrics.
