AG Bell's live e-seminar (sponsored by Cochlear Americas) will highlight the various systems and accessories available to cochlear implant users and parents. The e-seminar moderator, Linn Tearney , is the Consumer Support Specialist for Cochlear Americas. Linn, an adult with hearing loss, understands the challenges of learning to hear again with a cochlear implant after years of deafness. You do not have to be an AG Bell member to participate.

Peer Support Specialist ALDs
Linn Tearney is a bilateral Nucleus cochlear implant recipient who received her first implant over 17 years ago. She was implanted in the opposite ear in October 2007 after 38 years of total deafness in that ear.
Through her role at Cochlear Americas, Linn’s goal is to help recipients get the maximum benefit possible from their cochlear implants. Her specialty is providing information about the latest assistive listening devices, phones and other compatible products.

Passing an online exam will be required to earn continuing education credit.
Live Webinars allow presenter and participant interaction. The exam for these courses must be completed within 7 days of the event.
