This presentation will review the benefits of simulation-based education in audiology training programs. The unique benefits of computer-based simulations will be presented and strategies for integrating computer-based simulations into an audiology curriculum will be discussed. Guidelines for providing supervision and earning clinical hours will be provided. A methodology for pre-briefing and debriefing computer-based simulations will be explained. Tools for evaluating outcomes and assessing participants' overall satisfaction with the debrief session will be discussed.
