Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Audiologist to join our growing practice. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care, a strong understanding of audiological assessments, and the ability to provide personalized treatment plans. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations for patients of all ages.
- Diagnose and treat hearing disorders and balance issues.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Fit and program hearing aids and assistive listening devices.
- Provide counseling and support to patients and their families.
- Stay current with advancements in audiology and hearing technology.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
- Document and maintain accurate patient records.
Qualifications:
- Doctorate or Master's degree in Audiology (Au.D. or M.A./M.S. in Audiology).
- Hearing Instrument Specialist, licensed in the state of Virginia
- Current state licensure in Audiology (or eligibility to obtain).
- Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or equivalent is preferred.
- Strong clinical skills and experience with hearing aids and audiological assessments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate and patient-focused attitude.
