Duties:
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess patients' hearing and balance disorders
- Use medical imaging and other diagnostic tools to examine the anatomy and physiology of the ear
- Interpret test results and provide accurate diagnoses
- Develop individualized treatment plans for patients, including recommending hearing aids or other assistive devices
- Provide counseling and education to patients and their families on hearing loss, communication strategies, and hearing conservation
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as otolaryngologists and speech-language pathologists, to coordinate patient care
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in audiology research and technology
Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Audiology or related field
- State licensure or certification as an Audiologist
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to the auditory system
- Proficiency in conducting diagnostic evaluations using aseptic technique
- Experience working with patients of all ages, from infants to older adults
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
