Join our team! We have an excellent full time opportunity for a Licensed Audiologist for a fast-paced specialist office. This is a full time position at our South Austin office located in the SouthWest Medical Village.
Established in 1969, Austin ENT Clinic is one of the leading Ear, Nose and Throat clinics in the nation. Our physicians specialize in otolaryngologic care for pediatric and adult patients at locations across the greater Austin area. Our practice features state-of-the-art care for ear, nose, and throat problems, hearing loss, environmental allergies, sinus, and head and neck surgery. We offer a variety of highly specialized procedures that utilize the latest medical technology.
As a full time Audiologist you will provide a full range of audiological services for our Austin ENT office. The role involves administering and evaluating various audiological tests, hearing aid consults and fittings, providing counseling to patients and families, and ensuring the efficient coordination of schedules and assignments. The hours are Mondays 8AM-5PM and a possible opportunity for 2 additional days in the week.
Responsibilities
● Provide a full range of audiological services
● Conduct all components of complete audiometric hearing test battery as needed for differential diagnosis of hearing loss
● Provide counseling to patients and families concerning the current function of the hearing mechanism, the nature of the hearing loss, the use of the hearing aids or the handicapping effects of hearing loss
● Servicing approximately 10 - 12 patients per day
● Business Casual or scrubs dress code
● Hearing Aid Evaluations and Fittings
