A day in the life will involve:
- Completing a full range of hearing diagnostics for patients of all ages in a fast-paced clinic
- Interpreting test results and discussing with the patient
- Identifying hearing aid candidates and referring to dispensing audiologist
- Counseling family and loved ones on hearing loss and its impact
- Assisting in office duties such as filing, organizational tasks, answering/returning patient phone calls
Our future teammate will:
- Have a Master’s or Doctorate in Audiology
- Current Texas Licensure for Audiology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence of Audiology (CCC-A)
- Willingness to hone and expand professional skills
- A team player with a cheery disposition and easily gets along with others
