The Department of Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology seeks an outstanding and energetic full-time assistant professor with expertise in the field of audiology to begin in Fall 2025. This is a 9-month, tenure-track position. Teaching responsibilities include undergraduate and graduate level courses in audiology. The candidate selected for this position will be expected to engage in research, provide high-quality and innovative instruction in both traditional and non-traditional formats, serve as appropriate on department, college, and university committees, and participate in professional organizations.
Minimum Qualifications
· Ph.D. in audiology, communications sciences or disorders, or a related discipline from an accredited institution;
· An established research agenda with the ability to engage in independent research and grant development activities;
· Ability to teach in traditional and non-traditional formats and settings (on-campus, off-campus, evenings, online) and utilize instructional technology software (instructional software, learning management systems such as Canvas);
Preferred Qualifications
· Preference will be given to applicants who have teaching and research expertise.
