A Typical Day in This Role Includes:
- Conducting comprehensive diagnostic audiological testing.
- Delivering advanced amplification services like hearing aid assessments, real-ear measurements, and live speech mapping.
- Collaborating with physicians to recommend solutions for hearing disorders.
- Educating patients about options and guiding them toward personalized hearing care solutions.
- Dispensing, fitting, and managing hearing aids, including follow-up care and education.
- Handling repairs, exchanges, and returns of hearing aids with ease and professionalism.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: Master’s or Doctoral degree in Audiology (Au.D.) as required in Ohio.
- Licensure: Current and in good standing in the State of Ohio.
- Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) is optional but a bonus!
- A passion for patient care, collaboration, and staying at the forefront of audiology practices.
