Brookline Hearing Services, a well established and growing, private hearing healthcare practice in Brookline, MA. We are currently seeking an Audiologist who is driven, self-motivated, and passionate about helping patients hear well again. Our practice works with most manufacturers, providing greater flexibility in offering the highest level of patient care. The ideal candidate must be strong clinically and have the ability to effectively counsel while building patient rapport. The hours for the position are Monday-Friday 9-5PM, part-time is also possible. We are looking for an Audiologist to become part of our team oriented, patient-focused practice.
Daily tasks and responsibilities:
- Establish effective rapport with patients and their family members, making appropriate recommendations for their hearing needs and lifestyle.
- Make ear impressions, ear molds, and order instruments.
- Cerumen Removal.
- Fit hearing aids and assist with any adjustments, questions, or problems.
- Maintain documentation and patient files.
- Database entry of patient information/Audiogram.
Qualifications:
- Masters’ Degree in Audiology but Au.D. is preferred.
- Active and current state Audiology licensure or the ability to obtain.
The successful Audiologist will also possess the following:
- Strong interpersonal (both written and verbal) and organizational skills.
- The ability to work in a team environment as well as working independently.
- The ability to interact professionally with patients, physicians, and team members.
