Job Description
A busy, fast-growing independent audiology practice in Des Moines, IA is seeking an audiologist with diagnostic and hearing aid experience for full-time position. This is a dispensing practice with the focus on providing high quality assessment, intervention, and outstanding patient-center care to the Des Moines area.
Establish rapport with patients and gather patient history, conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations, make recommendations for hearing instruments, and report writing.
• Counsel patients on understanding their hearing loss and tinnitus, its implications, and appropriate intervention strategies including selecting appropriate amplification to qualified candidates.
• Program and fit hearing instruments on patients and follow-up with adjustments, questions, or problems.
• Assist in growing the practice through community awareness, referral programs and other innovative initiatives.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient files.
Qualifications
• Doctor of Audiology degree or Masters of Audiology and working toward AuD.
• Active license to practice audiology in the State of Iowa or eligible for licensure.
• Motivated to deliver high quality services and products
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be proficient with computers, math, and patient satisfaction.

• The ability to always interact professionally with patients, physicians
and team members.
