Job Description:
As an Audiologist at ENT of Fairfield, you will play a key role in diagnosing, treating, and managing hearing loss. You will work with patients of all ages to conduct hearing tests, provide personalized treatment plans, and recommend hearing aids or other assistive devices. Your expertise and care will make a positive impact on the lives of individuals facing hearing challenges.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations and assessments for patients of all ages. Including conventional audiometry, tympanometry, acoustic reflexes, DPOAEs, VRA and CPA.
Develop personalized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences.
Provide counseling to patients and their families regarding hearing loss, treatment options, and hearing aid use.
Fit and program hearing aids and other assistive listening devices for adult patients.
Maintain accurate patient records, including evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including ENT specialists, to provide holistic patient care.
Stay up-to-date with the latest audiology research, treatments, and technologies.
Qualifications:
Master’s or Doctoral degree in Audiology (Au.D. preferred) from an accredited university.
Valid CT state licensure as an Audiologist.
Strong knowledge of hearing aid fitting, programming, and troubleshooting. (Oticon, Signia, Widex & Resound).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate and patient-focused with a strong commitment to providing exceptional care.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Experience in pediatric and/or adult audiology.
Bilingual (English/Spanish or other languages) is a plus.
