Shohet Ear Associates, formerly William House Hearing Associates, is a thriving, rapidly growing private practice that offers comprehensive Neurotology, Otolaryngology and Audiology services. Located in beautiful Orange County, California, we treat both adult and pediatric populations across three state-of-the-art facilities: a world-class medical center in Newport Beach, a surgical and medical center in Seal Beach, and an office connected to Hoag Hospital in Irvine. Our Newport Beach and Seal Beach locations are just steps away from the beach and have been thoughtfully designed with comfort and modern elegance in mind.

What We're Looking For:
- Must hold a California State Dispensing Audiology License or be willing to obtain one.
- Expertise in the latest hearing loss treatment, including hearing aid selection and fitting.
- Strong communication skills that foster trust and understanding with patients, families as well as other professionals.
- A collaborative spirit: audiologists work closely with physicians, physician assistants, and doctoral students.
Preferred Experience (Not Required):
- Experience with middle ear implants and bone conduction devices.
- Ability to evaluate cochlear implant candidates, perform mappings, and recommend aural rehabilitation resources for optimal patient outcomes.
- Experience with tinnitus and hyperacusis assessments and counseling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and interpret test results related to adult and pediatric disorders of hearing and balance using audiometry, electrophysiology and/or vestibular assessment.
- Select and fit the latest hearing technologies including daily-wear, extended-wear hearing aids and assistive listening devices.
- Verify hearing aid fitting and troubleshooting using Real Ear Measurements.
- Maintain best audiologic practices to ensure the highest standard of patient care.
