ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

• Join an established practice with an excellent reputation
• Practice in a collegial part-time position working three days/week with benefits
• Heavy focus on administering Diagnostic Tests with future hearing aid work with CA-HADB licensure
• Patient age ranges – pediatrics to geriatrics
• Perform comprehensive audiograms, diagnose hearing loss, make recommendations for amplification
• Complete OAE, Tympanometry, Audiological Evaluations, ETD testing and VRA testing
• Complete minor hearing aid repair along with clean and checks
• Consult with/make recommendations on hearing disorders to physicians
• Coordinate care with physicians and providers
• Future interest in hearing aid work is desirable

QUALIFICATIONS

• Current and unrestricted CA state license in Audiology
• Current dispensing license
• Master’s degree or doctorate degree from a university accredited by ACAE, CAA, or ASHA
• Ability to convey information to patients and families with tact
• Ability to assess, plan, prioritize, and complete delegated tasks
• Ability to demonstrate compassion and caring in dealing with others
• 3 years work experience as an Audiologist is preferred
• Hearing aid experience is a plus
