In this course, we’ll examine the outer ear’s compliance using data from direct ear scanning and CT scans. We’ll also discuss how compliance can inform hearing aid and earmold design and modification to create a comfortable fit.

Lydia Gregoret is a chemist/biochemist-turned-audiologist. At Lantos Technologies, she combines her creativity, research training, chemistry skills and clinical audiology experience to help advance the world's first digital ear scanning system. Before coming to Lantos, Lydia was a clinical audiologist in Boston. Prior to that, she was a tenured faculty member at the University of California, Santa Cruz in Chemistry & Biochemistry. Lydia has also taught courses at Brandeis University and at Northeastern University. She received her PhD in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the University of California, San Francisco, and her AuD from Northeastern University.
