Bethany Wenger received her clinical doctorate in Audiology from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine after studying Communication Science and Disorders at the University of Pittsburgh. Her training included a special focus in childhood hearing loss, and she has held leadership positions on local and national boards through the American Academy of Audiology. Dr. Wenger previously directed the newborn hearing screening program at a high-volume nursery and Level III NICU (over 5000 births/year). Currently, she is the Director of Audiology for Specialists in Pediatric & Adolescent Health with Capstone Pediatrics, one of the largest pediatric private practices in Middle Tennessee.

Alison Peak
LCSW
Alison D. Peak is the Director of Behavioral Health at Capstone Pediatrics. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with substantial experience in working in integrated health care settings, Alison focuses on assisting providers and families to understand the link between physical and emotional health, especially as it relates to the role of trauma in chronic conditions. Alison received her MSW from the University of Michigan with emphasis on Interpersonal Practice with Children and Youth. Alison also has two post graduate certificates; Certificate in Integrated Behavioral health and Primary Care and Certificate in Pediatric Integrated Health Care.

Alison Peak: Financial: Alison Peak is employed by Capstone Pediatrics and is an adjunct professor at the University of Tennessee and Belmont University. She received an honorarium for this presentation. Non-financial: Alison Peak serves on the Board of Directors for the Association for Infant Mental Health in Tennessee (AIMHi-TN) and is engaged in several advisory panels across Tennessee to improve behavioral health access in primary care settings.
