The Oticon Symposium in Pediatric Audiology is a recorded three hour virtual conference that explores current topics of interest to clinicians working in pediatric audiology. Our guest speakers include Dr. Marlene Bagatto and Dr. Sheila Moodie from Western University who will discuss considerations when fitting children with CROS and BICROS hearing aids and tools to help support families of children with hearing loss. Marlene Bagatto is an Assistant Professor in the School of Communication Sciences and Disorders and the National Centre for Audiology at Western University in London, Ontario, Canada. She is Past President of the Canadian Academy of Audiology and Chair of the Canadian Infant Hearing Task Force. Dr. Bagatto’s research interests relate to policy and practice integration in the area of pediatric audiology.

PhD
Sheila Moodie, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor in the School of Communication Sciences & Disorders at Western University, London, ON and an Associate in The National Centre for Audiology (NCA) also at Western University. She is the Director of the Family-Centered Early Intervention Lab. Dr. Moodie is the Chair of the Knowledge and Implementation in Pediatric Audiology (KIPA) Group.
