Dr. Kathleen Weissberg, (MS in OT, 1993; Doctoral 2014) in her 25+ years of practice, has worked in rehabilitation and long-term care as an executive, researcher, and educator. She has established numerous programs in nursing facilities; authored peer-reviewed publications on topics such as low vision, dementia quality care, and wellness; has spoken at numerous conferences both nationally and internationally, for 20+ State Health Care Associations, and for 25+ state LeadingAge affiliates. She provides continuing education support to over 17,000 therapists, nurses, and administrators nationwide as National Director of Education for Select Rehabilitation. She is a Certified Dementia Care Practitioner and a Certified Montessori Dementia Care Practitioner. She serves as the Region 1 Director for the American Occupational Therapy Association Political Affairs Affiliates and is an adjunct professor at both Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA, and Gannon University in Erie, PA.

Amit Gosalia

Amit Gosalia started his hearing career working for a hearing aid dispenser in Phoenix. After realizing there had to be some form of didactic education and theory behind the hearing system, he jumped into Audiology. He received his M.S. from Arizona State University, and a few years later, his AuD from AT Still University, where he subsequently taught the Amplification course at the residential AuD program.
His leadership in Audiology began when he joined a licensure committee and quickly learned the struggles of our profession. He became the chair of the Arizona political action committee for audiology, and then ran, and was elected President of the Arizona Speech-Language-Hearing Association in 2006. He served a 3-year term on the Board of Directors for the ABA in 2012-2015 and has served as Chair of the AAA Marketing sub-committee, Chair of the Public Awareness Committee, and was recently completed a term as President of the Audiology Practice Standards Organization.
He purchased his first practice, Audiology Clinic, Inc in Vancouver, WA in 2012, significantly grew the business, sold the business in 2017, and moved to Los Angeles, where Dr. Gosalia joined West Valley Hearing Center.
Dr. Gosalia is board certified by the American Board of Audiology and is a member of the American Academy of Audiology, the California Academy of Audiology and the Academy of Doctors of Audiology. He is the co-founder of the highly successful AudBoss Private Practice Summits, which sells out annually. He is passionate leader for audiology, philanthropic within and outside of audiology and is always looking to help audiologists and students achieve their goals.
