Common Errors in ENG/VNG

This article describes some of the errors and pitfalls that are encountered in ENG and VNG testing. These errors can occur at any point during the test, for example, failing to do an adequate physical exam before the actual test, failing to alert the patient in some parts of the test, or failing to recognize invalid caloric results after completing the irrigations. Simple rules and procedures for recognizing and avoiding these errors will be discussed.
