Eldré Beukes, is a lecturer at Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge, in the United Kingdom. She received her BSc in South Africa and her MSc and PhD were awarded in the United Kingdom. She is a clinical scientist in Audiology and was awarded the Richard May prize following her training and continues to see patients. Her research focus over the past six years has been in developing, managing, and evaluating evidence-based internet-based interventions for tinnitus. She received the prestigious Shapiro prize from the British Tinnitus Association for her research three years in concession between 2017 -2019 and the Hallpike Research Prize in 2019 for her work on the development and running of clinical trials to assess the effectiveness of Internet-based interventions. She is the first author of the book "Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Tinnitus."
