cCMV: Essential Knowledge for Audiologists, in partnership with Midwestern University and Phoenix Children's Hospital

Course: #38708Level: Advanced 1 Hour 177 Reviews
Recorded Webinar

cCMV is the most common cause of non-genetic, childhood-onset sensorineural hearing loss, but audiologists are often unaware of it and not trained to provide care to patients who are cCMV positive. This presentation will increase audiologists’ awareness of cCMV and provide practical information on providing care to patients with cCMV.

This course is part of a seven-course series, Congenital Cytomegalovirus (cCMV): What Health Care Providers Need to Know Now, in partnership with Midwestern University and Phoenix Children’s Hospital. The congenital CMV (cCMV) series presents the latest research on diagnosis and treatment, raise awareness, delineate prevention efforts, provide information about early intervention options, and disseminate family support resources in an effort to reduce the number of babies infected with cCMV.

Please note: You may earn ABA Tier 1 credits for this course if you complete it as part of course 38771, "Congenital Cytomegalovirus (cCMV): What Health Care Providers Need to Know Now, in partnership with Midwestern University and Phoenix Children’s Hospital." ABA Tier 1 CEUs can only be earned when completed as part of course 38771.
