This course reviews current innovation happening in technology, services and delivery of hearing health care. NAL (National Acoustic Laboratories) research that informs these changes will be reviewed.

A review of the bloodborne pathogens standard as published by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Learn what you need to know in your place of employment, including employer requirements for protection and appropriate infection control practices for a hearing healthcare practice.

This course includes one hour of content on each of the following topics: 1) ethical concepts and decision-making; 2) universal safety precautions, including the Occupational Safety & Health Administration's (OSHA) bloodborne pathogens standard, and 3) patient confidentiality and the Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act (HIPAA).

This presentation will discuss advanced fitting features in ReSound Smart Fit fitting software. The discussion will include adjustment options to resolve common patient complaints.
