Private Practice in Audiology: Change is Inevitable - Now Let's Adapt, presented in partnership with Seminars in Hearing
This 5-part webinar series is focused on the current and future status of private practice in audiology, based on select articles from a recent issue of the journal Seminars in Hearing (Issue 04 · Volume 37 · 2016). Audiologists have expressed serious concerns about the future of the profession in light of recent developments such as the passing of the OTC Hearing Aid bill, manufacturer acquisition of audiology practices, and price competition from big box stores. Dr. James Jerger, in his preface to the Seminars issue, stated "we must understand that change is inevitable, and learn how to adapt to it." The webinars in this series will focus on how audiologists can successfully re-align their practices and position themselves for success in these uncertain and changing times.
