This course will review a multidisciplinary approach to auditory rehabilitation of adults with cochlear implants, using case studies. Examples of professional roles, assessments, interventions, and outcomes will be discussed.

As part of our ongoing commitment to deliver a standout patient experience, we are excited to present what’s new in the latest release of Unitron TrueFit™ fitting software version v4.3. Participants will be introduced to Unitron’s newest products and technology on the Discover Next platform, learn about the latest enhancements to the Remote Plus app including asynchronous distance support and be able to utilize these innovations to truly provide the most personalized hearing solution.

This course will provide information for the practicing clinician as well as researchers with regard to the anatomical and physiologic characteristics of oculomotor function. Additionally, this course will present study findings related to the application of oculomotor function testing as part of videonystagmography to the pediatric population.

This course will provide a basis for understanding candidacy and completing a pre-operative evaluation of Bone Anchored Hearing Systems (BAHS), including the newest Ponto 4 and the Ponto 3 Super Power. Topics will also include mixed/conductive hearing loss and Single-Sided Deafness, device selection, determining the need for an at-home trial experience and counseling tools along with resources that will aid in informed patient decision making.

This course will introduce Unitron’s complete product portfolio and technological advancements of the Discover Next platform. The Discover Next platform allows patients will be able to hear the subtle nuances of speech with powerful technology that enables better understanding of who is talking, where the voice is coming from, and the underlying meaning. Participants will learn about this latest sound performance innovation, taking audibility and speech intelligibility to a whole new level.

Phonak Paradise is released along with a new version of Target 7.0 fitting software. While much of the fitting software remains the consistent with the previous version, several new hearing performance features, as well as new user control functionality will be reviewed. The software will be discussed in detail to provide confidence when programming Phonak Paradise and counseling patients about the expected benefits.

This course introduces Smart Fit fitting software. Attendees will receive instruction on connection flow, basic software functions, advanced features and 1st fit best practices.
