This course will provide tools that the best possible outcomes when fitting Unitron products. In addition, this course will provide an in-depth review of Unitron TrueFit fitting software, review what’s new in Unitron TrueFit v4.3 and highlight Unitron’s signature features. Finally, to support continuous patient success, we review troubleshooting tips and tricks specific for Unitron products and features.

The involvement of family and communication partners in healthcare is a well-established element of person centred care. This course will describe the important roles that communication partners play, explore the impact of hearing loss on family members, and identify practical tools that audiologists can use to involve them in the hearing care journey.

The benefits of consistent, full-time hearing aid use are twofold: Improve communication in daily listening situations and enhance health-related outcomes. A challenge, however, is that many patients struggle with becoming independent problem-solvers when faced with challenges associated with hearing aid use. Too often, when faced with these challenges, individuals give up and stop wearing their devices or are faced with having to make an inconvenient or undesirable number of return visits to the clinic.
