Question

What are the benefits of software integration to an audiology practice?

Answer

Software integration is key to streamline your patient care process. For example, while each instrument from Otometrics offers unique benefits as a stand-alone solution, integrating these instruments results in a simple and efficient testing process. It also allows work flow that can be customized to fit your patient care needs.

Integration streamlines every step of the diagnostic process. The OTOsuite® software connects it all, allowing you to transition seamlessly from video otoscopy to audiometry, otoacoustic emissions (OAE), tympanometry, probe microphone measurements (PMM) and beyond. For example, a USB plug and play device like the MADSEN® Capella2: Because it integrates into OTOsuite and is Noah compatible, it opens up the OAE testing possibilities in your clinic. Available DP, DP I/O, TE and SOAE modules, gives you the ability to customize the testing parameters as well as the power and flexibility needed to test patients of all ages. Built-in coupler features an easily accessible and removable cavity for quick probe checks.

Integrated audiometry with the MADSEN® Astera² allows you to test patients through the familiar user interface of the Audiometer Control Panel, a touch screen inside the sound booth, a keyboard or mouse. OTOsuite and Astera² incorporates new assessment tools into daily audiometry to strengthen your professional offerings. It is the only clinical audiometer with a dedicated tinnitus evaluation module and tinnitus specific questionnaires. Learn more at www.audiologysystems.com/integration
