For Audiology Managers, who are ready to make the transition to EMR, what the first step to start an Implementation Project?
Answer
The first step is to find out the level of integration that a clinic truly needs through a one-on-one consultation. The Audiology and/or IT Manager is encouraged to fill out a 5-minute EMR Assessment Survey to ensure we fully understand their systems and unique needs before we start the consultation.
Free EMR Assessment by completing this short survey ($2000 value)
Together with your local Otometrics rep, we will look into your integration needs and ways to maximize your budget. SIG-certified specialists will work with both audiology and IT managers throughout the integration project to ensure that your clinical, operational and financial needs are satisfied.
Lance Brown served 4 years with the United States Air Force following his studies at the University of Memphis. Brown then began his career in hearing health as the regional sales manager at a national distribution company for 20 years. During that time, he was a board member of the National Association of Equipment Distributors (NASED), where he served as President from 2005-2009, and led a national organization dedicated to maintaining the highest standards for hearing testing equipment. In 2011, Brown joined Otometrics and helped build a new distribution company, Audiology Systems, where he worked in multiple capacities. With Otometrics, Brown began constructing the infrastructure that would later be known as the Software Integration Group (SIG) where he now serves as the Director. SIG offers software and services solutions allowing audiologists to connect their equipment to local and wide area networks and connect with their electronic medical records (EMR).
