Question
I need some guidance for how to connect the programming cable to the Bernafon brite - can you help?
Answer
brite uses the 4 pin (New Standard 2) cables, as used for Bernafon BTE's. No adaptors are required.
The programming cable connection for is located under the wind filter, below the rear facing directional microphone. To access the programming connector, open the battery door, and lift the bottom of the wind filter with a fingernail. You will see the 4 pin programming connection immediately.
The programming connection is specifically placed under the microphone wind filter to provide protection from intrusion of debris and moisture. From a design perspective, it meant that only one cover was required to cover the microphones and the programming connection.
Always program brite using a fresh size 312 battery, correctly inserted.
