Question

Where does an average hearing aid wearer spend the majority of their time?

Answer

dINING

According to Phonak fitting data, an average hearing aid wearer spends 68%1 of their time “in quiet.” The premium feature, Speech Enhancer, helps a hearing aid wearer hear soft voices (like quiet talkers, grandchildren, and whisperers) and can automatically boost up to 10 decibels of soft speech, while in quiet. This feature also results in a 23% improvement in speech intelligibility at a distance of 6.5 feet2 (when it is often hard to hear someone who is speaking from another room). Speech Enhancer delivers and boasts even more claims.
