The bag included with my hearing aid order looks different, why the change?
Answer
You may have noticed that there’s a new bag in your Phonak order. At Phonak, we are committed to protecting our planet, minimizing our environmental impact, and creating social and economic value to society. The goal for the start of the new year, was to deliver a durable bag big enough to hold all the Phonak products dispensed at a first fitting appointment. Our driving force was to combine feedback from providers and hearing aid wearers and incorporate our Sonova Group environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles together to create a new bag made of recycled or reused materials. This new, 100% curbside recyclable bag is made from post-consumed plastic bottles and is perfect for multiple uses. In addition to the new bag, we’re also improving the packaging of our TV Connector accessory. The new design weighs less, can be folded down, and is free from adhesive making this box both reusable and recyclable. These environmentally focused changes not only help to lower our carbon footprint by reducing the amount of waste in both product packaging and materials, but highlights our dedication to improving the customer experience by providing quality products to our end-users.
