Question

How does Phonak EasyOrder ensure your custom hearing aid orders are accurate?

Answer

Phonak recently introduced a new way to order custom hearing aids. RICs and BTEs are easier products to stock as the choices are somewhat limited. Meanwhile, an ITE has numerous configurations based on your patient’s lifestyle and preferences.

As HCPs are designing custom hearing aids that are unique to their patients, Phonak EasyOrder ensures that nothing is accidentally overlooked. EasyOrder helps you in selecting all the necessary components of your custom order, building it right the first time, and reducing any additional time out of your patient’s ear for additional components or rebuilds. You can have peace of mind knowing that you are ordering exactly what your patient wants and needs, the first time.

Now, of course, ordering through the Phonak Store continues to be an incredible solution! Both digital ordering options save HCPs time while delivering accurate orders. EasyOrder is really a tool for accounts who don’t fancy themselves as Phonak Store users.

Acoustically Optimized Vent (AOV) vs. Manual

No matter how you order your Phonak Virto™ Paradise hearing aids, specifying the right vent is critical to you patient’s success. Another efficiency you gain from Phonak is found in selecting the Acoustically Optimized Vent (AOV), rather than manually specifying vent specifics. AOV is Phonak’s proprietary venting algorithm. It takes several key factors into account to create a vent size and shape individualized for each patient. AOV-O is another venting option, available exclusively for Virto Titanium. This device will be modeled with venting as the first priority and size as a close second.

The algorithm that supports these venting options was designed after we studied over 10,000 ears. That research helps us strike the delicate balance of occlusion and size. According to our internal data, hearing aids with AOV are returned less often than hearing aids with manually-selected vents.

While ordering custom hearing aids gives you many options, the process doesn’t have to be overwhelming. Use EasyOrder and AOV to provide your patients an accurate custom hearing aid.
