Do Sonic products have binaural coordination/classification?
Answer
Yes, our newer products that offer wireless connectivity – including Flip and Bliss – also offer binaural classification of environmental information. The instruments use the input from both instruments to create a 360° analysis of the auditory scene. Based on this information, the devices adjust in unison to select the ideal configuration. The binaural classification system is only used in the Universal program to provide a hands free experience in a variety of listening situations, and is available in both Bliss and Flip at the 100 and 80 levels. In Bliss, this feature is only available on models that have wireless capability (miniBTE, ITEPDW and ITCPDW).
