Question
How do I create a customized word list on my audiometer?
Answer
The GSI AudioStar Pro and GSI Pello come standard with over 150 wordlists. In addition, you may have CDs converted and loaded onto your audiometer that you own. To organize these wordlists into a more user-friendly format, you can use the configuration application. The configuration application is a software program that is loaded onto your PC to set up default preferences. From the configuration application, you can select wordlists, assign them a test type (SRT, WRS, etc.) and then place them in the order that makes sense for your testing routine. After you download that configuration to the audiometer, the wordlists will be accessible in the wordlist favorites area of each test type which will make them easier to find and make testing more efficient.
