Question

How can the myPhonak app help my patients keep track of their hearing aids?

Answer

29153

myPhonak 6.9 introduces ‘Find my hearing aid’ to track lost Phonak Infinio hearing aids. The highly-rated myPhonak app continues to add new features to improve the experience. With the new Phonak Infinio hearing aids myPhonak enables the ability to locate hearing aids using both GPS and a signal strength meter.

After pairing Infinio devices with the myPhonak app the user is asked to Activate Find my hearing aids. It is important to allow location access with the highest precision. This will ensure that even when myPhonak app is not open it will record the location of the hearing aids in the event they become separated from the phone. Please note that Phonak does not have access to location information.

The feature can be opened anytime by going to “Devices” then “Find my hearing aids.” From here the location of the hearing aids is visible. There is also a signal strength meter to detect how close each hearing aid is to the phone as long as the hearing aid is still powered on.
