Question
How can I merge data in GSI Suite and Noah?
Answer
There are several scenarios when it is necessary to view different sessions at the same time. For example, if I have an audiometer from GSI and a middle-ear analyzer from a different manufacturer and I want to view the results on the same report, I need to merge the data. Additionally, if my audiometer is in one room and my OAEs are in a different room, the data is saved in different Noah sessions so I need to merge the data to view it on the same report. Regardless of the reason for merging, GSI Suite offers a seamless solution.
To merge data from two sessions from within Noah, click the downward arrow icon on the Lookup button and select View Patient. This will display the Select Patient dialog. From the Select Patient dialog, click on the Patient Name to display the sessions. The list of sessions has a selection box for the three available test types. Select the tests from the separate sessions that you would like to view in the same report. Then select Merge.
When you select Merge, a virtual session is created in Noah. The selected tests will appear in the appropriate tabs in GSI Suite. The session information will display merged to indicate that you are viewing data from multiple sessions. The data may be viewed in a report and a PDF may be saved. The virtual session will not be saved. You may merge the data again if you need to view it or create a report with the merged data at a different time.
Merged sessions can be done in both GSI Suite as a Noah Module or GSI Suite stand alone.
