Principal Training Specialist
Katie Vaden, Au.D., CCC-A, joined Advanced Bionics in 2012. Prior to joining the Education and Training team, Dr. Vaden worked as a cochlear implant audiologist with the Indiana University Medical Center CI Team. She spent 12 years at this program, and as the Clinical Team Leader, worked diligently to ensure that CI recipients and their families received the most advanced technology and expert clinical care. Dr. Vaden received degrees in audiology from the University of Tennessee and University of Florida.
McKenzi Dixon, Au.D., is a Senior Education and Training Specialist in the Education and Training Department at Advanced Bionics. She joined Advanced Bionics in 2019 as a Clinical Specialist, supporting cochlear implant audiologists and surgeons in the Northwest. In 2023 she joined the Education and Training team at Advanced Bionics. Dr. Dixon received her degree in audiology from Pacific University in Oregon.
Education and Training Specialist
Stephanie Johnson is the Manager of the Global Education and Training team at Advanced Bionics, LLC. Prior to joining AB, Dr. Johnson held a position as an Education and Training Specialist within the hearing aid industry. She spent three years in this position, training hearing healthcare professionals on the use and care of hearing devices. Dr. Johnson received degrees in audiology from SUNY Geneseo and the University at Buffalo in New York. She resides in Washington, D.C.
Senior Training Manager
Lori Hambrick is a Principal Education and Training Specialist in the Education and Training Department. She joined Advanced Bionics in 2007. Before joining Advanced Bionics, Lori worked at Methodist University Hospital providing a range of audiologic services to both pediatric and adult patients. Over the last six years, Lori has trained on cochlear implant technology and patient management both nationally and internationally. She received her degrees from Middle Tennessee State University and The University of Memphis.
