Clinical Audiologist

The Ear, Nose and Throat Center, the premier Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery group in the northern Chicago suburbs, is seeking a full-time audiologist to join our dynamic team. We are a busy ENT clinic with five otolaryngologists, two Physician Assistants, three full-time Audiologists and several support staff. The audiologist will split time between our Park Ridge and Buffalo Grove offices. The ideal candidate will be someone who can work independently as well as in a team setting.   

Clinical Responsibilities: 

• Conduct comprehensive diagnostic hearing evaluations and counsel results for a primarily adult patient population 

• Conduct ototoxic monitoring test battery for patients undergoing treatment for head and neck cancer   

• Provide tinnitus counseling and strategies 

• Recommend and fit proper amplification and provide ongoing services  

• Provide earmold fitting for purposes of amplification, hearing protection and water protection 

• Identify cochlear implant and osseointegrated auditory implant (OAI) candidates; refer CI candidates for further evaluation and coordinate care with surgeon to fit OAI candidates  

• Assist in clinical administrative functions including phone calls, documentation, reporting, etc. 

• Maintain HIPAA compliance 

Requirements: 

• Education: Masters or Doctorate in Audiology 

• Active Illinois Audiology license or eligible for licensure 

• Strong communication skills with ENT physicians, Medical Assistants, Physician Assistants and a diverse patient population 

• Positive attitude, team player
