Advanced Bionics Announces Future Compatibility with Phonak EasyCall and DECT Phone Accessories

The world’s cochlear implant innovation leader will soon offer new phone accessories from the world’s hearing instrument innovation leader.

June 15, 2015 -- VALENCIA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Advanced Bionics (AB), a global leader in cochlear implant technology and a company of the Sonova Group, announced today the future compatibility and availability of the Phonak EasyCall and DECT Phone solutions for use with the Naída CI Q70 (Naída CI) sound processor.

The unique EasyCall and DECT Phone accessories are designed to significantly improve speech understanding when talking on the phone, without any intermediary device required. Compatibility of these accessories with the Naída CI sound processor will be enabled with the next release of SoundWave™, AB’s signature fitting software.
